Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, “Where is the new-born king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.”
Memory Verse: Jeremiah 1:5, I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.
Good morning and welcome to another great day. I pray it brings you many blessings, Amen. Yesterday, we deliberated on how God created us and crowned us with power and authority; today we look into how He has crowned us with Glory. The story Jesus Christ’s birth brings a lot of questioning from His conception through to birth. However, His birth reveals something very important; it shows every human is born with a star. The star which is the same as glory rises at the time of birth. God bestowed glory upon everyone born of man and this could be seen when He spoke about Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah. God confirmed this when he first called on Jeremiah for a great assignment, Jeremiah 1:6-7.
If everything worked just as God has created them to, then clearly we as human will have a very smooth life from our birth into earth till our final breath on earth but unfortunately, from the moment a child is born like Jesus was, the star rises and there is immediate strive as seen in the case of Jesus and King Herod in Matthew 2:3. He was intimidated by the birth of a new child and from then onwards, Joseph and Mary had to flee to save baby Jesus and His glory from Herod’s destruction. Matthew 2:13-15.
What would have happened if baby Jesus was not taken away? Most likely, Herod’s bitterness would have had Jesus eliminated, which means we do not have a savior. The only reason you are a life today is because God has protected your Glory from birth like He did with Jesus. You might have done a few things wrong or gone through phases in life that may have impacted how your life is turning or has turned out but there is still that assignment God created you for and if you are still breathing, then the assignment is not complete which is good news.
You can still fulfill that purpose because you have the breath of life. At times, we might think or know we have lost the glory, but God is capable of restoring every losses when we call upon Him. Samson lost his glory/power/authority at some point in life, He called upon God for it’s restoration for a moment, and God restored that unto Him. You can call upon God, and He will restore it if you do so. He said when you call upon Him, He will answer you.
If the sun, moon and stars according to 1 Corinthians 15:14, have their own glory and performs according to God’s actual plan, then what is stopping us His Children whom He has crowned with glory from functioning? God is keeping you alive, so you can function as He has originally designed you to from birth. He is working on you and with you to manifest in the glory He has crowned you with. Remember He is not a waster of resources, He created you and I for a purpose and the fulfillment of purpose shows forth God’s glory upon a man’s life.
You are designed with glory and for glory but your glory can only function in the glory of God. You have the ability to manifest God’s glory at all times, you have an inheritance in God’s glory but only as His child. Stop doubting , you are created with God’s glory.
Prayers:
· Father I thank you for you are faithful and worthy of my praise
· Father restore my lost glory in Jesus name.
· Father help me fulfil purpose and manifest in the glory bestowed upon me
· Father, bring me back into your presence, let me manifest in your glory
· Thank you, Lord for answers to prayers, in Jesus Name I pray. Amen,
Have a productive day and remain blessed.
