“Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.”
Memory Verse: Titus 3:8 “This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.”
The world loves evidence and to be candid, we all want to do something and see the success of it. We like seeing manifestations because it gives us satisfaction and encourages us to do even better. The journey towards being successful can either be encouraging or discouraging depending on the individual’s reasoning.
Even if everyone put in exactly the same effort into a task at the exact same time, results will continue to vary and differ amongst individuals but different results does not signify lack of progress and consistency. A slowly growing plant can suddenly spring up while a speedy growing plant have its own slow phases too.
The journey towards heaven has exactly the same starting point for all. We all only begin to live when we accept Jesus as our Lord and savior, this is only the starting point “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 .
It’s like initiating a road trip but the journey cannot commence or progress without constant and intentional effort to keep it going. Today’s bible verse talks about some of the evidence that shows we are truly on the Lords side.
There is an expectation on Christians on how we should behave. The word of God is our guide to how we are expected to act as His children and these are intentional behaviors that shows to God how much we love him but also evidently shows the world that we are grace focused.
If we are constantly doing things according to the word of God and have not achieved much progress, remember profit is something achieved from an initial investment and there can be no profit if we have not invested so the only way is to invest and keep nurturing till time for profit comes. With God, no investment is wasted. God is constantly looking at your consistency and will surely reward you with good evidence of something to show forth. Even If you don’t see the benefit now, your generations to come with reap it.

- Father I thank you for your unlimited blessings and grace
- I am thankful for your faithfulness to your word despite my imperfections
- Help me to continually invest treasures in heaven, let me profit from good labor
- Purify me Lord, help me to be pure and clean inside and outside, living totally for you
- My Hope is built in you O Lord, let me not be moved by the wrong doctrines posed by the world
- Help me to reach out to others through your word and let the world come to the knowledge of you
- I receive unction to speak forth with power, and through it souls become saved
- Thank you for the grace not to ask amidst and to abide in you
- Help me to walk with you daily, live my life for you and be at the centre of it all
- Forgive me Lord of all my iniquities, bless me abundantly and make me a blessing unto others, in Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen
