I personally dislike driving on unfamiliar roads and routes because I find it stressful, and this becomes worse when I use a GPS that has not been updated to the latest version or has no intelligence of real time traffic information. Few weeks ago, I was invited to an event, I had to face my fear of driving on an unfamiliar route but to get to my destination, I drove through a place I have not driven through in a very long time, and you could almost guess what happened next? I got a ticket – The road rules that I knew so much about had changed.
I wasn’t aware of those changes and did not bother to check how my journey may have been impacted because I thought I knew the road so we’ll but for the unfamiliar road, I took so many wrong turns and my journey time took much longer because I was using my car’s navigation system which had no record of the new changes to the road layout and speed limits. It could tell me to take the second exit without recognising that a new road had been open hence what used to be the second is now the third exit.
Our path in life is often like my journey. Before coming to the knowledge of Christ, we automatically take paths laid down by others hence using out of date information to live a current life. However, when we come to the knowledge of Christ and operate with the Holy Spirt but fail to continue to abide in Christ. We use our previous information of His direction to operate in a path that has changed so much.
The path of living on earth can only be shown by the one who created the earth. The devil has been doing all to alter what God had put in place like he did in the garden of Eden. Because God is one step ahead, He has already created an alternative path for His children but those who wander away from Him cannot be beneficiaries.
Are you lost and confused? If you are asking questions about where you missed it in life but have still not been able to trace it then a good place to start is to update your spiritual navigator (Get in sync with the Holyspirt). There is a chance that something has changed in your path when you took the wrong turn, but the Holyspirt is able to redirect you and put you on the right path.
Stop wasting valuable time sulking over yesterday, the Holyspirt is here and with you daily to lead you in your own path according to the will of God.

- Help me to come to the understanding of you, reconnect to you and be led by you daily
- Help me to grow and become a strong believer, be consecrated to you, obey you verbatim and live for you
- Help me Lord to rise above adversity and be victorious on all sides
- Thank you for going ahead, Father, I am grateful for all!
- Forgive me of my sins Lord and let me live a life worthy of your use, AMEN!
