Achieve More With God!

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”

Memory Verse: “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.” Psalms 84:11.

I have always assumed that things would work out exactly as planned without itches or glitches and this is because the grass always looks greener on the other side. As a result of this, I further assumed that for those who didn’t get it right, they simply didn’t plan properly. How naïve! Some people do everything right and still don’t get the desired end result and even worse is when you see Christian’s struggling so much with things in life. I continually ask, but the bible says nothing good will be withheld from those who walk upright, Psalm 84:11. So why is this Christian brother or sister struggling?

It’s important to note that at this point, I was only looking outwardly, and my assumptions were drawn from the basis of what people displayed, so even those who lived their lives keeping up with the Jones or Kardashians were seen to be as living successfully until I began to see the reality that public display was not an indication of achievement. The gloomy parts are usually never displayed for us to see.

This is exactly what Prophet Samuel did when he was instructed to go anoint the replacement of King Saul. He naturally just assumed that Eliab was to be the next king based on his appearance and features. Even prophet Samuel would have gotten his assignment wrong until the Lord said “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart “ 1Samuel 16:7.

Our faith in God, backed up by faithfulness is the ingredient to achieving more than the ordinary. Though it may not look like it, but when God has said in His word that He will do exceedingly, the only barrier to seeing this come to pass is doubt. Even after David was anointed, God continued to work with Him and on Him while preparing the great takeover.

Nevertheless, while’s God is working on things for you, don’t be discouraged. Do not doubt, do not think time is running out and your peers are ahead, don’t look back because it is totally impossible to trade with God and be a loser. David was anointed but did not become king until God’s master plan was complete.

It is impossible to trade with God and loose. Whatever you think you can achieve from the world, it can never be anything compared to what God has in stock for you.

“But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” I Corinthians 2:9.
