Welcome all the Lord’s followers, even those whose faith is weak. Don’t criticize them for having beliefs that are different from yours. Some think it is all right to eat anything, while those whose faith is weak will eat only vegetables. But you should not criticize others for eating or for not eating. After all, God welcomes everyone. What right do you have to criticize someone else’s servants? Only their Lord can decide if they are doing right, and the Lord will make sure that they do right. Some of the Lord’s followers think one day is more important than another. Others think all days are the same. But each of you should make up your own mind. Any followers who count one day more important than another day do it to honor their Lord. And any followers who eat meat give thanks to God, just like the ones who don’t eat meat.
Memory Verse: Whether we live or die, it must be for God, rather than for ourselves. Romans 14:7.
Have you been around judgmental people? I mean those who don’t see anything good or right in anything but constantly judges your every action, movement, and intention. If you have, how does that make you feel?
The world is full of judgmental people who think they know it all and because of their supposed knowledge, they see everything else being done by others as wrong, hence they take the position of God and judge other people’s lives, restricting them from the freedom that God has blessed life with. Most of this judgment come from Christians who see themselves as strong and presume others are weak.
For many years, I did not understand that my level of involvement in other people’s lives should be with caution. This is because, the minute I knew something as right, I automatically assume that anyone else doing anything contrary to what I was doing were doing the wrong thing. So I judged people in my heart and even reacted outwardly based on how I have judged them.
The more I studied the word of God, the more I realised that we are all God’s people and I have no moral ground or right or basis for judging anyone, Romans 14:4. God is taking us all on different journeys, though with the intention of our endpoint being Heaven, He created us all for different purposes; but ultimately for fulfilling His purpose. That person we see as doing wrong and we become judgemental about, could be the reason we are not making much progress with our own personal life and in our relationship with God.
When Miriam and Aaron began to judge Moses, they wanted to take the place of God without realizing that though he was their brother, Moses was more than a prophet to God. So therefore their opinion did not matter in Moses’ life and God Judged them in return, Numbers 12:1-15.
Are you Christian? Enjoy your relationship with God and do all to win people over to Christ without judging them. Do not be the stumbling block to other people’s faith because of your standards of perfection, but let everyman freely serve the Lord for we all belong to God. Romans 14:8.

- Forgive my sins Lord and create in me a clean heart.
- Help me to lay aside every judgemental spirit and aspire to help others grow instead.
- Father help to adhere to your plans and principles for my life. Let it be an expression of your grace.
- Father Lord, let your hand multiply me in every realm of life.
