No More Barriers!

no barrier

Bible Text: Luke 24:2-6  “They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. So they went in, but they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes. The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee,”

Memory Verse: Ephesians 2:14  “For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.”

There is joy in the atmosphere and I am particularly excited as the resurrection of Jesus always seem like the new year to me. Interestingly a lot of predicted painful things transpired in the process together with unpalatable happening to Jesus prior His death, but all this had to happen before He entered glory, Luke 24:25-26. Indeed, what a manner of unmeasurable and undeserving love the Father has for us.

As Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for you and I, He removed the barrier that sin had put between us and God. His death and resurrection ensured the broken bridges were mended, the keys to life taken away from the devil and access to eternal live through salvation is granted unto us. Through this we can now boldly enter into the throne of grace, Hebrew 4:16.

Today is a reminder that we are no longer a slave to fear or sin and the blood of Jesus is now the lens through which God sees us. God is not fixed on judging and we should no longer be stuck in hiding ourselves from His presence or moving forward to the place where God has destined for us. He has not called the qualified, but called the unqualified to qualify them. He doesn’t want us to self-condemn but to have a relationship with Him, having sent His son to die for us on the cross.

There are no more barriers, the stone has been rolled away from every obstacles and stagnancy. So I encourage you to live your life like a redeemed of the Lord, freely and in the peace which Christ has freely given.

Don’t let the devil confuse you, we now have direct access to our Father just like it was in the Garden of Eden before man sinned. We can hear him through His spirit in clarity and we can build a bond and fellowship with Him for the rest of our existence and in eternity.

Remember the scriptures according to 2 Corinthians 5:17 says Anyone who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come. Let the new man in you spring up as a significance to His suffering, death and resurrection. Let go of those things of old which you hold so tight to and might hinder a smooth flow of fellowship with your creator. No one is saying it’s an easy task, but you must live your everyday life not looking back on the things of the past but focusing on the prize and moving forward with the hope for His final calling into perfection.

PRAYERS:

  • Father I thank you for the salvation of my soul, Majesty I am grateful for your love
  • I pray for the power and zeal to press on the upward way and focus on your kingdom
  • Help me to seek you with every breath in me and live my everyday walking with you
  • Forgive my iniquities Lord and let your mercy prevail over judgement
  • Thank you Father and in Jesus Name I Pray, Amen.
