“As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon possessed. And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marvelled, saying, “It was never seen like this in Israel!” But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.”
Memory Verse: Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Cor. 10:31.
Have you ever had a thought of doing something unique? I mean something that will make you seem like a God sent to the world. While those are not everyday thoughts that goes through everyone’s mind, some people just wake up going about their business as usual, while some others spend an awful lot of time thinking endlessly without arriving at any sort of conclusion. Uniqueness can be derived in the everyday line of business while for the inconclusive people, discouragement can set in while others may just keep going till something is finally attained.
The major problem is usually wrapped around the “Why” not the “What”. People who usually know why they want something done usually have a better focus when they find out “what” because they could be like to a wise man who has built upon the rock.
Many believers maybe including you and I work in isolation. We say we want to live our lives glorifying God, but we never really do anything that makes the glory of God show forth in our lives because we live a selfish Christian life.
Jesus was on earth, and we know “why”- The salvation of our souls and our freedom from sin. Jesus did not simply come into the world, wait for His time of death, and move on, He made sure that God’s glory was experienced and for this reason people saw things they had never seen, and God was glorified more and more.
Like Jesus, You do have an assignment on earth and it’s more than giving your life to Jesus and going to church every Sunday. You are here to do everything for God’s glory to be seen and felt by everyone around you. You may be thinking there is nothing unique to be done but every time you do something to someone that has never been done by you or experienced by them before, then you have done something unique to touch a life.
Let your life be that of service so that God can continue be glorified in your life.
