Once during the time of Elijah there was no rain for three and a half years, and people everywhere were starving. There were many widows in Israel, but Elijah was sent only to a widow in the town of Zarephath near the city of Sidon. During the time of the prophet Elisha, many men in Israel had leprosy, But no one was healed, except Naaman who lived in Syria.

Do you like placing online orders? I am a big fan of online shopping and to be honest, I like placing orders online because I am a lazy shopper. I enjoy the convenience of being able to compare prices and the visuals online just seem to attract me like a child. Having done online shopping for so long, I can say I have had my fair share of missed and wrong deliveries. The pizza man would deliver the wrong pizza and the clothing company will sometimes send me the wrong sizes. I will usually be furious because I simply cannot fit into wrong size clothing.
Mixed up deliveries happen for a number of reason but most importantly, the item delivered may be of no use if it’s not intended for you. There is always a name on packages, the receiver’s name and if the parcel is a special delivery, the receiver must confirm their identity, else the delivery will be missed or returned back to the poster.
Every delivery from God is special and uniquely addressed to the receiver and for this reason, God called Father Abraham, Prophet Samuel and many others in the scriptures by name when He had to relate with them. Jesus told the people of Nazareth the same because like some of the people in the synagogue, we go through our whole day, week, and year without receiving anything from God because we have not ordered anything from Him.
Just like the online shops, you need to relate with God, speak to Him and make a request for delivery but you must have a method of payment (Credit in the name of Jesus) for your order to be successful. After making your request, you must be in tune with God, so you don’t miss your special delivery.

- Father I thank you for your love, grace and favour
- I receive the grace to abide in you always and draw nearer to you
- I pray that I receive all good things you have purposed for me and not to miss all my appointed times
- Bring me back from my lost path, help me to move in the right path from today
